Ministry of Science and Technology has directed to withdraw substandard sanitizers from the market.

In a press release, it said Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority has declared 23 brands of sanitizers circulating in the market as substandard.

The ministry said these sanitizers do not meet the criterion set by World Health Organization.
