In Afghanistan, security forces have killed twelve militants in Nangarhar and Kunduz provinces.    

According to Afghan army, eight militants were killed in Khogiani district of eastern Nangarhar province when the security forces targeted their hideout.

Meanwhile, four militants and a police officer were killed in a clash between militants and security forces in Kunduz.
