Dr. A. Z. Hilali (IR Expert): The bold and courageous verdict of the International Court of Justice unfortunately it does not shield the people of Gaza from the Israeli genocidal aggression. Israel was required by international law to enact immediate steps to stop the horrors continuing over the past four months. International community must play its role to stop Israeli reprisals against Palestinians. The international organizations must intervene to ensure a two-nation solution to the ongoing conflict in Gaza. A two-state solution would mean the dismantling of Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, as well as the partition of Jerusalem. OIC must also have to play a pro-active role in resolving the conflict by uniting the Muslim world under one umbrella. Pakistan at its end is voicing against Israel’s siege and relentless bombing on the Gaza Strip, demanding an end to the oppression of the innocent Palestinian people.
