Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.

Smog and fog is likely to develop in plain areas of Punjab during morning and night hours.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:

Islamabad five degree centigrade, Lahore ten, Karachi sixteen, Peshawar seven, Quetta one,  Gilgit  and Murree two and Muzaffarabad four degree centigrade.       

According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy and cold weather is expected in Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, Baramula and Srinagar, partly cloudy and very cold in Leh and cold and dry weather is expected in Jammu during morning hours.

Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar three degree centigrade, Jammu ten, Leh minus seven, Pulwama zero, Anantnag one and Shopian and Baramula minus one degree centigrade.
