Representative of IMF to Pakistan, Maria Teresa Daban Sanchez has held a meeting with the Minister of State for Finance, Rana Muhammad Afzal in Islamabad.

They exchanged views on the current macro- economic situation in the country. 

The Minister said that all efforts were afoot to keep up the momentum of economic growth.

Maria Sanchez lauded efforts of the government for improving security situation in the country, which has given boost to economic activities and enhanced confidence of the business community.
