It is commendable that the International Atomic Energy Agency has appreciated the nuclear safety and security standards of Pakistan. DG IAEA, Yukiya Amano, has said that Pakistan is completely implementing IAEA guidelines. The IAEA is an international organization and it is duty of states to respect its guidelines. IAEA has found Pakistan on the right track. Pakistan has established many nuclear medicine hospitals throughout the country. On the other hand, we are also effectively using nuclear technology in our agriculture sector. While India do not enjoy a good track record as compare to Pakistan.

Yesterday’s terrorist attack in Raiwind (Lahore) is inhuman and against the spirit of Islam. Basically, martyred police personals prevented huge loss and stopped suicide bomber at check post. Terrorists who perpetrate such brutalities in the name of Islam have not spared religious people even. It means their motive is just to spread terrorism and anarchy in Pakistan. It shows that terrorists are the enemies of humanity. Although Pakistan has taken great steps to eradicate the menace of terrorism in last three years but some terrorist still manage to infiltrate in our society. Now, we have to boost our intelligence based coordinated efforts to counter such attacks in future.
