A two-day Pakistan Mother Languages Literature Festival begins at Lok Virsa in Islamabad today.

Over one hundred writers, poets and artists will attend the event to showcase colours of Pakistan's linguistic and cultural diversity.

There will be over twenty sessions in addition to opening and closing ceremonies as well as musical evenings on both the days.

Over 20 new books of mother languages on fiction, poetry and history will also be inaugurated at the festival.
