Russia has alleged that the US administration is taking provocative actions to break down a possible meeting between President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

In an interview, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said when a meeting is agreed, the two sides try to cherish such agreement rather than call for actions that can be seen as provocations.

Lavrov said Moscow will be glad if a meeting between the two leaders takes place.
