The UK Councillor and former Mayor of Rugby Dr.James Shera has appreciated the efforts undertaken by Pakistan to uproot the menace of terrorism.

In a statement, he said in the global efforts towards fighting out terrorism, Pakistan has suffered the most in terms of loss of lives of its citizens and economically.

Dr Shera said India has been using the bogey of terrorism to misguide the world by pretending to be the victim of terrorism and accusing Pakistan as a sponsor of terrorism to vilify it.

He said India is doing it to distract the world's attention from its own crimes against humanity in the Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Dr Shera said the recent surge in terrorism activities as stated by Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, in his press conference along with DG, ISPR involve perilous threats.

He said Indian real face has been exposed as a sponsor of terrorism and terror financing in Pakistan to destabilise it.
