Egypt has won both men's and women's World Squash Championships titles.

In the Men's category, Egypt's Mohamed Elshorbagy beat his brother Marwan in the final by 11-5, 9-11, 11-7, 9-11, 11-6 at Manchester to clinch the World title.

In Women's category, Raneem El Welily, beat her compatriot Nour El Sherbini in the final by 3-11 12-10 11-7 11-5 to win the title.
