The Lahore High Court has declared the appointment of Chairman PEMRA, Absar Alam as null and void and removed him from the position.

Judge of the Lahore High Court, Justice Shahid Karim declared the verdict on Monday.

The Court said the appointment was made in violation of rules and regulations.

The Court also ordered to re-advertise the post of the Chairman PEMRA.
