Those who curse Parliament want to create anarchy: PM

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi says PML-N is the only political party that never made hollow claims and rather proved its worth by delivering in public welfare and development sectors.

He stated this while addressing the inauguration ceremony of the expansion of Faisalabad International Airport in Faisalabad on Saturday.

The prime minster said the government has executed a number of development projects and around 1,800 kilometers long motorways have either been completed or are in final phase to  integrate all parts of the country.

The prime minister said airports were being completed in every province. Ports have been expanded, besides gas, power and railway projects are also being carried out.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said the government has delivered in every sector of the national economy and there is an unending list of development project.

He said the number of flights in the airport had increased to 118 a week. This is just a beginning. Aviation is the backbone of every modern economy. Particularly, the exporting economies cannot grow without aviation.

The prime minister also assured government's support to the industrial community of Faisalabad that had showed its willingness to establish an airport just like Sialkot.

He assured the gathering that the link road towards motorway would be completed soon that had been committed by former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

The Prime Minister said that this extension project has been completed at a cost of one a half billion rupees with in stipulated time. Twelve new facilitation counters have been established for international and four for the domestic travellers.

Addressing the Health Cards under PM Health Programme among deserving people in Bhakkar today, the prime minister said the PML-N always speaks about connecting the provinces instead of dividing them.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said the present government completed many energy projects during the last five years to overcome the energy crisis.

He said gas facility will also be provided to every city of the country.

The Prime Minister said despite sit-ins and obstacles by the opposition, the government has never stopped the development works.

He said those who curse the parliament actually want to create anarchy and stop development of the country.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi challenged the opposition parties by saying to move a no-confidence motion in the National Assembly and dissolve their respective provincial assemblies and face the masses’ decision in next elections.

He said the people will give their response in election of July, 2018. This politics of falsehood, conspiracy and curse will be buried forever.

He assured the gathering that the PML-N’s government will complete its term.

The prime minister also distributed health insurance cards among the deserving people that would allow them free medical treatment of up to 0.3 million rupees from private hospitals.

He announced that the scheme would be launched in every district of the country, besides GB, FATA and AJK.

Earlier addressing the launching of work on a bridge to connect Bhakkar with DI Khan  he said the project will cost seven billion rupees and complete in 18 months to reduce the distance of hours to minutes.
