Leading US daily the Washington Post has dismissed India`s claims of normalcy in Occupied Kashmir.   

In an article, the paper notes that India says Kashmir is improving but people of the territory continue to suffer due to restrictions.                                                                   

The paper refutes Indian Home Minister Amit Shah`s statement that normalcy has returned to Kashmir and there is no shortage of food or medicine in the territory and says that reality is different as people are deprived of medical facilities and thousands of Kashmiris still under illegal Indian detention in the territory.
