Chairman Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir Shehryar Khan Afridi has urged the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation to depute a fact-finding commission to investigate the cases of violence based on religion and belief in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing a function in connection with the International Day commemorating the Victims of Violence based on religion in Islamabad today (Saturday), he said this is the time for the Muslims across the globe to rise and raise their voice for Kashmiri brethren who are suffering at the hands of the Indian fascist regime.

Shehryar Afridi said the global Muslim leaders should move beyond the customary statements and address the issue seriously.
