Dr. Amna Mehmood (IR Expert): Pakistan has always been looking for a peaceful and stable Afghanistan. Islamabad has always endorsed every initiative taken for Afghan peace. Pakistan desires for the formation of an inclusive government in the neighboring country. It is appreciable that the world has acknowledged Pakistan's role in evacuating the foreigners from Afghanistan. Taliban have taken over the control of Afghanistan and we hope that future government of the neighboring country will work for the welfare of Afghan people. Peace in Afghanistan is directly linked with regional peace.

Abdullah Gul (IR Expert): The situation in Afghanistan is normal and peaceful. The United States has withdrawn its troops from Afghanistan and Afghan security forces are not capable enough to confront the Taliban. It is appreciable that the Taliban have announced a peaceful transformation of power. Taliban have established their writ in Afghanistan successfully. There are some pro-Indian elements in Afghanistan that are not happy with Taliban's take over. India is standing on the wrong side of history. New Delhi would not be able to use Afghan soil now for their malicious designs in Taliban's Afghanistan. Taliban have urged the people to stay in Afghanistan.

Dr. Rasheed Ahmed Khan (IR Expert): The post withdrawal situation in Afghanistan is entirely different from the past. Life is heading towards normalization in Afghanistan. The Taliban realize the fact that this is a new era and the world has changed. It is appreciable that Taliban recognize those changes and have assured the world that they would run the government in accordance with the global norms and values. Peace and stability in Afghanistan must be an utmost priority of the future government of Afghanistan. The people of Afghanistan have rendered matchless sacrifices in the last four decades.
