President Dr. Arif Alvi has asked Chairman NADRA to come forward with a plan to remove difficulties in the registration of women and other marginalized segments of the society.

The President said this during a briefing by Chairman NADRA Usman Y. Mobin about the ongoing projects and future initiatives of the organization at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, in Islamabad on Tuesday.

The President emphasized that national identity card is a basic requirement for claiming any benefits from the Government and urged all the citizens including women to realize the importance of having registered themselves with NADRA.

Meanwhile, Ambassador of Spain Carlos Cesar Morales Sanchez paid a farewell call on President Dr. Arif Alvi.
