Peshawar Zalmi beat Islamabad United by 34 runs in the first match of Pakistan Super League at Dubai this evening.

Batting first, Peshawar Zalmi scored 176 runs for six in the allotted 20 overs.

Islamabad United could score 142 for nine in the allotted 20 overs.

For Peshawar Zalmi, Kamran Akmal and Tamim Iqbal were the lead scorers with 53 and 39 runs respectively.

Faheem Ashraf took two wickets for Islamabad United.

For Islamabad United, Faheem Ashraf was the top scorer with 54 runs and remained not out.
