Shahbaz reviews pace of work, development on ongoing projects

Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that provision of the basic civic amenities to the citizens is their right and for the purpose, funds worth billions of rupees are being spent.

He was chairing a meeting in Lahore on Monday to review the pace of work and development on the ongoing projects in the Lahore city.

During the meeting, the development works and completion of the projects were reviewed.

He said that the city of Lahore is the heart of Pakistan and the provincial government is completing the various schemes speedily to undertake beatification and development of the city.

He said government has always support provincial departments and now it is their duty to perform their official work honesty, responsibly and sincerely.

He asked the officials to keep up day and night work on the development schemes to ensure the provision of the best necessary facilities to the masses.

The Chief Minister said that irresponsible and inefficient officers will be sacked.

Shahbaz Sharif advised the concerned authorities to present a comprehensive and effective report within few days about the so-far development on the projects and implementation on his directives.
