Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says Pakistan and Bahrain have deep brotherly relationship based on historical, religious and cultural values.

Talking to Bahrain's Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa in Manama on Thursday, he said the strong defence ties between the two countries are helpful in promotion of bilateral cooperation in economy and trade.

The Foreign Minister appreciated the steps taken by the government of Bahrain in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic due to which the Pakistani community in Bahrain did not have to face any difficult situation.

The Interior Minister of Bahrain lauded the Pakistani community's positive role in progress and development of Bahrain.

He also hinted at carrying out joint efforts for promotion of bilateral cooperation in diverse fields between the two countries.
