AJK President Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan says China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has paved the way for the economic revolution in Azad Kashmir.

He was addressing “A Maritime Awareness Seminar” organized by Pakistan Marine Academy in Muzaffarabad on Thursday. The President said that CPEC is playing a significant role in the up-gradation of existing infrastructure and development of the state. He said all districts of the state are being linked with each other's through Mansehra to Mangla Expressway under this mega project. Sardar Masood Khan said Mirpur Industrial Zone would not only provide its services in Azad Kashmir but also to Pakistan.

He said hydro-power projects started under CPEC would produce sufficient electricity to end energy crisis in the country. AJK President underlined the need of a complete survey of oceanic resources of the country for the economic development of Pakistan.
