    Prominent anchorperson Hamid Mir said apparently the agenda of the Long March is to disrupt the democratic process.

    He said Tahirul Qadri was claiming to gather four million people but he could just manage 10 to 12 thousand people so far for the March.

    He also expressed surprise as to why the government is giving free hand to him.

    Commenting on imposition of Governor's rule‚ Senator Mir Hasil Bizenjo said this was good decision for the Government‚ which should have been taken much earlier. kasoom

    Senator Kalsoom Parveen said allied parties did not want imposition of the Governor's rule but there was no other option for the Government as people were feeling insecure.

    She said targeted attacks were being launched against all communities including Hazaras.

    Journalist Maqbool Malik said the time of the Long March was questionable. He said one has to consider whether demands being made by Qadri were doable in such a short period.
