The National Broadcasting Service of Radio Pakistan aired a progrmame ‘ Naey Ufaq' in which current issues including APC‚ FO briefing and meeting of National Assembly Standing Committee were discussed.
All Parties Peace Conference has agreed that the issue of terrorism should be resolved in accordance with the Constitution and law and within the bounds of national sovereignty.
In a declaration‚ read out by ANP Chief Asfandyar Khan Wali at the conclusion of the All Parties Conference on Thursday‚ the participants emphasized the need to give priority to negotiations for restoration of peace.
In his remarks on the occasion‚ Asfandyar Wali said the issue of terrorism is not of one party or province as it concerns the entire country. He said the APC convened by ANP is the beginning and the parties have agreed to continue their efforts for peaceful resolution of the issue.
Speaking in a Naey Ufaq program of NBS‚ PTI leader Fozia Kasuri says that her party was not formally invited to participate in the APC‚ called by ANP.
Commenting on the APC‚ she said that her party was stressing upon the need of roundtable talks to resolve the issue of terrorism‚ but the government ignored suggestions of the PTI. She maintained that elections are around the
corner now and the ANP has called APC‚ which cannot be termed as serious and result-oriented.
