Sautul Quraan Channel of Radio Pakistan was started on 26th January 1998 (27th Ramzan-ul-Mubarak) from six stations viz i.e. Karachi, Hyderabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta and Islamabad.

2.   First three Rounds of Recitation of the Holy Quraan were broadcast from Radio Pakistan Islamabad without Urdu Translation.

3.   From 1st April 2000, it was separated into two parts From 07:15 am to 11:00 am, recitation with Urdu Translation and from 11:00 am to 1200 Noon recitation without translation i.e. Husn-e-Qiraat.

4.   Sautul Quraan was brought on National Network from Islamabad station on 1st January 2002. Thenceforth recitation of the Holy Quraan is being broadcast from, BH Islamabad through its Main channel i.e. Medium Waves 585 Kilohertz (MW-585-KHz), which is relayed by Radio Pakistan Karachi, Hyderabad, Peshawar and Quetta on their channel-2 and from Radio Pakistan Lahore on   MW-630-KHz from 07:10 am to 12:00 Noon.

5.   Broadcast of Sautul Quraan Channel was brought on the Internet from 20th November 2002.

6.   By the grace of Allah (SWT) reptile now 358 rounds of recitation of the Holy Quraan with its Urdu translation have been completed whereas 359th Round is continuing.

7.   102 Rounds of recitation of the Holy Quraan without translation have been completed so for and 103rd round is continuing at present.
