Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has directed to activate computerized arms licensing across the province including newly merged tribal districts.
Presiding over a meeting regarding computerization of arms licensing in Peshawar today (Friday), he said financial resources would be provided to accomplish the task of digitizing more than 2.5 million arms licenses.
The Chief Minister instructed the concerned authorities to make the mechanism of issuing computerized arms license, easier and simple.
The meeting was briefed that so far more than two hundred thousand computerized licenses have been issued generating revenue of six hundred million rupees.
The meeting was further informed that computerized arms license could be verified both online and offline through scanning the barcode.
