Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib says the Federal Board of Revenue has surpassed the revenue collection target for the first seven months of current financial year, by 262 billion rupees.
In a tweet, he said the FBR has collected net revenue of 3,352 billion rupees during the first seven months of current financial year, exceeding the target of 3,090 billion rupees.
The Minister of State said this represents a growth of about 30.4 percent as compared to the collection of 2,571 billion rupees during the same period of last year.
