Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States Rizwan Saeed Sheikh has called for a durable resolution of Kashmir dispute for peace in the region.

In an interview with Newsweek, he emphatically rejected any involvement of Pakistan in Pahalgam attack.

He said we are focused on the geo-economics side of our geography and our foreign policy.  He said we do not want to fight but want peace as it suits our economic agenda.

He however made it clear that Pakistan wants peace with dignity. He said Pakistan will defend its territorial integrity in the event of a conflict erupting.
