Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety, Shazia Marri says the federal government is committed to remove the sense of deprivation among people of Balochistan.

Addressing a press conference in Quetta on Friday, she said 8 million families are being provided support under Benazir Income Support Program and the number of beneficiaries will be further increased.

The Minister said the government will constitute 25 mobile teams of BISP in Balochistan to have access to the people living in far flung areas of the province.
