Australia has strongly advised its citizens not to travel to Afghanistan due to security threats.

The travel advisory issued on the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade website mentioned that Australian citizens have been injured, killed and unlawfully detained in Afghanistan.

The advisory stated that no part of Afghanistan is safe, including the capital Kabul.

Several other countries, including the US, the UK and Canada, have also advised their citizens against travelling to Afghanistan.
