Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed the authorities concerned to expedite work on the ongoing projects and initiatives for welfare of overseas Pakistanis.

He issued these directives while talking to Chairman Board of Governors of Overseas Pakistanis Foundation Syed Qamar Raza and Managing Director Mohammed Afzaal Bhatti, who called on him in Islamabad today.

The initiatives launched by the Foundation to address the problems of overseas Pakistanis came under discussion during the meeting.

The Prime Minister emphasized that overseas Pakistanis are the valuable asset of the country as they significantly contribute to foreign exchange by sending their hard-earned earnings to Pakistan.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister was briefed on the plan for taking further steps to provide welfare and facilities to Pakistanis living abroad.

The Chairman Board of Governors and Managing Director OPF appreciated the Prime Minister for making untiring efforts for global peace.

The Prime Minister, expressing satisfaction over the steps taken by Overseas Pakistanis Foundation, directed to formulate and present a comprehensive plan for further improvement.
