Pakistan's Ambassador to the US Rizwan Saeed Sheikh says Pakistan has always demonstrated responsibility and restraint.
In an interview with ABC News, he said Pakistan desires peace but it should not be in anyway seen as a sign of weakness.
The Ambassador said if there is any attack on our territory, Pakistan will respond with full force. He said we do not want tension in the region, but if two nuclear powers come face to face, nobody knows where it goes.
Regarding Pahalgam incident, the Ambassador said India has not yet presented any kind of evidence to Pakistan or the international community. He said India cannot shift the burden of its oppressive policies, electoral compulsions or administrative failures onto Pakistan.
Rizwan Saeed Sheikh said if the presence of seven hundred thousand troops cannot ensure peace in Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, it should be a moment of reflection for India.
He said Pakistan has played a frontline role in the global war against terrorism".
