Saudi Arabia has issued new guidelines regarding the age limit for intending pilgrims, making individuals above 12 years of age eligible to perform Hajj.

This was stated by spokesperson of Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Muhammad Umar Butt in a statement today.

He said the ministry has shared the Saudi authorities' directive regarding revision of age limit for Hajj journey.

He further clarified that the previous policy of a minimum age limit of 12 years for Hajj will remain in effect.
