In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has expressed deep concern over the plight of thousands of detainees languishing in different jails of India and the occupied territory.

APHC In charge Human Rights, Advocate Zamrooda Habib, in a statement in Srinagar said the jailed pro-freedom leaders and activists are facing the worst kind of political vendetta at the hands of fascist Indian regime.

The APHC leader urged UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres to take a legal action against India for its war crimes in Kashmir.

Several Hurriyat organizations in their statements appealed to the Kashmiri people to observe black day and a general strike on August 5th to make it clear to the world that India's position in Kashmir is of a forcible occupier.
