Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed the authorities concerned to execute sewerage, drainage, and paved street projects in more than 3,500 villages across the province.

She presided over a meeting on rural development in Lahore today.

The Chief Minister also directed the authorities concerned to introduce a community-based organization mechanism for the development of model villages.

Meanwhile, chairing another meeting in Lahore today, the Punjab Chief Minister directed the authorities to open the CM Electric Bike Scheme portal this week.

She approved the gradual expansion of the CM Electric Bike Scheme to include government employees, public sector departments, the general public, and delivery riders.
