Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country while, partly cloudy and very cold in Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during the next twelve hours.  

Fog is likely to prevail at a few plain areas of Punjab during morning hours.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:      

Islamabad seven degree centigrade, Lahore eleven, Karachi seventeen, Peshawar ten, Quetta and Muzaffarabad six, Gilgit one and  Murree four degree centigrade.      

According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy and cold and dry weather is expected in Srinagar, Anantnag, Shopian, Jammu, Pulwama, Leh and Baramulla.      

Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar zero degree centigrade, Jammu twelve, Leh minus four, Pulwama two, Anantnag and Shopian three and Baramulla four two degree centigrade.
