Pakistan has strongly condemned terror attacks and loss of precious lives in Nigeria and expressed sympathy and condolence with bereaved Nigerian families.

Talking to his Nigerian counterpart Geoffrey Onyeama on telephone on Wednesday, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi expressed hope for early recovery of fifty citizens kidnapped by terrorists.

He said Pakistan condemns such criminal acts to destroy peace and stability of any country, including terrorism and violence.

Appreciating the strategy of Pakistan against terrorism, the Nigerian Foreign Minister stressed for mutual technical consultation and cooperation between the two countries.
