The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has urged the United Nations to invoke the Security Council resolutions for settlement of the decades-old Kashmir dispute.

APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas in a statement issued in Srinagar, strongly strongly condemned the continued illegal detention of thousands of Kashmiris, including APHC Chairman Masarrat Aalam Butt, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Shabbir Ahmed Shah and Aasiya Andrabi under false cases.

He called upon the UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, to resolve the lingering Kashmir dispute as per UN resolutions.
