In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), thousands of people continued their protests in Jammu against the eviction drive by the Indian authorities.

Leading the protests, Communist Party of India-Marxist leader M Y Tarigami said the people of Kashmir need to come together against the anti-people policies of the BJP-led regime to safeguard the future of the coming generations.

He said the regime has taken away our constitutional rights, our statehood and are now bent upon to take away our land. He said India is polarizing the situation to pitch people of different regions and sub-regions against each other.
