In Serbia, polling has taken place on Sunday to elect a new president, 250-seat parliament and local authorities.

Besides the general elections, local elections were held in 12 municipalities and two cities, including Belgrade.

A total of 126 seats are needed for a majority in the assembly.

Meanwhile, eight candidates took part in the presidential election.
