Pakistan's High Commissioner to the United Kingdom Dr Muhammad Faisal says any Indian aggression against Pakistan will be retaliated appropriately like in the past.    

In an interview, he mentioned the 2019 Pulwama attack and the befitting response by Pakistan.

The High Commissioner said while Pakistan is capable of responding with full force, it still is desirous of peace and amicable resolution of issues through dialogue.

To a question about India's accusing Pakistan for the Pehlagam incident, Dr Faisal categorically rejected Indian accusations and mentioned that there have been instances where eventually it was found out that the terror incident for which India accused Pakistan, was actually initiated from within India.                                  

He said the root cause of conflict between India and Pakistan is Jammu and Kashmir dispute.

He said the problem is that India does not want to honor its commitment made by it in the UN Security Council, of giving the right to self determination to Kashmiris living in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
