Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif launched ‘Apni Zameen, Apna Ghar’ scheme for shelter-less people in the province on Saturday.

Addressing the ceremony in Lahore, she said it was her dream to provide shelter to marginalized segment of society.

The Chief Minister said work for welfare of the poor will be continued through different schemes.

She said that in the first phase, 2,000 people will be given free plots.
