A 34-member delegation of diplomats and officials from the Arab League visited northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region from Tuesday to Friday.

After conclusion of the visit, members of the delegation said that that they witnessed a different Xinjiang from the one that had been portrayed by Western media.

A member of delegation from Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mohammed Haj Ibrahim said that the delegation witnessed stability, a rapidly growing economy, and a colorful and prosperous culture, with residents living and working in peace and contentment.
