Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousuf arrived in Madinah Munawwarah today.

Radio Pakistan correspondent Asad Ullah Khan reports from Madina that upon arrival, the Minister paid his respects at Roza-e-Rasool (SAWW). He also prayed for the unity of the Muslim Ummah, Pakistan’s security, stability, progress, prosperity, and for the wellbeing and comfort of all Hujjaj.

On the occasion, he said it is Allah’s special blessing that Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif entrusted him with the great responsibility to serve the Hujjaj.

He said the government strives to make the best arrangements for pilgrims.

Sardar Muhammad Yousuf said the Saudi Arabia government awarded the Excellence Award for the second consecutive year to Pakistan Hajj Mission is a testimonial of the government commitment to serve the Guests of Allah.

He said comprehensive efforts were made in Makkah to provide Hujjaj with quality accommodation, standard catering, effective transport, a digitalization system, lost and found services and other facilities.

He assured that the same spirit of service shown before Hajj will continue for the over 76,000 Pakistani Hujjaj arriving in Madinah.
