Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training  Madad Ali Sindhi has directed to make ten percent need based scholarships mandatory for yearly registration of private schools.

He gave the direction during a meeting with Chairperson of Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority Dr. Sayeda Zia Batool in Islamabad.

He said this stipulation is explicitly indicated on the registration certificates issued to Private Educational Institutions by PEIRA.
