The second round of talks between the government, the Pakistan Peoples Party, and the opposition is underway in Islamabad.

National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq is chairing the meeting.

The Speaker expressed hope that all sides would continue the talks in a cordial atmosphere, as they did during yesterday's meeting.

Federal Ministers Amir Muqam and Mohsin Naqvi, Minister of State Talal Chaudhry, and Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political and Public Affairs Rana Sanaullah are representing the government.

Pakistan Peoples Party is being represented by Sherry Rehman, Naveed Qamar, and Ejaz Hussain Jakhrani, while the opposition delegation includes Barrister Gohar Khan, Raja Nasir Abbas, Aamir Dogar, Asad Qaiser, Haleem Adil Sheikh, and Salman Akram Raja.
