Pakistan's rice exports have recorded a significant increase despite tensions in the Gulf region and disruptions to international shipping routes.

In September this year, Pakistan achieved a historic performance by surpassing Vietnam, the world's third-largest rice exporter, in monthly rice exports.

Pakistan exported four hundred and twenty thousand tonnes of rice in September, compared to Vietnam's three hundred and thirty-seven thousand tonnes.

Pakistan's rice exports volume recorded a fifty one percent increase during the first quarter of the current financial year.
