Punjab Finance Minister Makhdoom Hashim Jawan Bakht has directed concerned departments to ensure maximum progress and in time utilization of provincial budget on development projects.

He was chairing meeting of the annual development programme 2021-22 in Lahore.

He said that laws will be amended if required, to remove impediments in projects and the government will also extend necessary support to the partners. 

Chairman P&D Abdullah Sumbal briefed the participants that 337 billion rupees were earmarked for development expenditures in the current financial year and the amount has increased to 346 billion rupees after payment of pending dues by the federal government.
