An Al-Jazeera report has exposed the Pahalgam False Flag Operation and the drama orchestrated by the BJP.

It said that journalists have been gagged, dissent has been silenced, and civil liberties are under threat in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Over 1,500 Kashmiris have been arrested, and their homes demolished.

The Godi Media, instead of holding the Indian government accountable for intelligence failures, has echoed the government’s stance, churning out hyper-nationalistic noise, sensational rhetoric, and fear-mongering.

The report highlighted that with over 400 Indian news channels competing for viewership and revenue, sensationalist reporting and hyper-nationalistic takes on politics have long dominated the news cycle. It pointed out that networks such as Republic TV, Times Now, India Today, and Zee News are blaming Pakistan for the killings in Kashmir without rendering any substantial evidence.

These media outlets are producing anti-Muslim news content and dangerous, provocative commentary that aligns with the Modi government's Hindutva ideology.

The report mentioned that in 2019, the Modi Government revoked a constitutional clause that granted Kashmir a unique semi-autonomous status, bringing the state under New Delhi’s direct control.

It further said the electoral map of IIOJK has been altered, leading to Jammu, the Hindu-majority region, gaining greater political influence at the expense of the Muslim-majority Kashmir Valley. Other changes have loosened restrictions on non-Kashmiris settling in the region, aiming to permanently alter its demographics.
