In the United Kingdom, millions of voters will cast their votes for general elections today.

Around 46 million voters are eligible to elect 650 members of Parliament to the House of Commons.

Four thousand candidates including Pakistani dissent are taking part in the elections.

Leading political parties contesting the elections are Labour Party, Conservative Party and Liberal democrats.
