The government has reduced the prices of petroleum products for a week starting from today.

According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Energy, the price of petrol has been reduced by 1.97 rupees per litre. The new price of petrol is 297.53 rupees per litre.

The price of High Speed Diesel has also been decreased by 1.97 rupees per litre. The new price of diesel is 309.50 rupees per litre.
