Analysts dub India’s unconstitutional moves in IIOJ&K as threat to regional peace, stability
August 04, 2021

Syed Fakhar Imam (Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research): It is a diplomatic victory of Pakistan that Kashmir dispute is being discussed at all important international forums. The people of Kashmir have the right to decide their fate. Modi's government is pursuing the ideology of RSS, which has not been changed till date. China has been supporting Pakistan's stance on the Kashmir dispute. The world media has exposed the worst human rights violations in IIOJK. Torture, rape and blinding young people of IIOJK are the tools used by Indian troops to suppress their voices. The Indian government must withdraw its unconstitutional move immediately and resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the wishes and aspirations of Kashmiri people.

Dr. Khurram Iqbal (Expert on International Relations): The people of Kashmir have been under continuous siege for the last two years. We have seen increased militarization in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir in recent years. The fascist government of India has been making efforts to brutally suppress the indigenous freedom movement of Kashmir, but it cannot succeed in its efforts. The people of Kashmir have denied the New Delhi narrative. The brave people of Kashmir have been fighting for their legitimate Right to Self-determination for the last seven decades. Unfortunately, the world powers have kept a criminal silence on the Kashmir dispute.  India must act wisely and resolve the issue of Kashmir in accordance with the UN resolutions. Pakistan must continue its efforts to sensitize the world community regarding the worst human rights violations in IIOJK. Sustained diplomatic efforts are imperative to keep the Kashmir cause alive at the international arena. It is useless to pin hopes with the fascist Modi regime in India. The political leadership of IIOJ&K must rethink their political affiliations with New Delhi. The political leadership in IIOJ&K have been deceived many times.

Dr. Huma Baqai (Expert on International Relations): Kashmir is an unfinished agenda of partition between India and Pakistan. The Modi regime has exceeded all limits of atrocities by abrogating special status of IIOJK. The people of Kashmir are resilient and have rejected India's illegal and unconstitutional move. Despite using force, India has failed to suppress indigenous freedom movement. Pakistan has pursued effective diplomacy to highlight the Kashmir dispute at international front. The Kashmir issue is an important course of Pakistan's foreign policy. The incumbent government has sensitized the world community that Kashmir is an international dispute and India's stubborn attitude is posing a very serious threat to regional peace.

Lt. General, Retired, Asif Yaseen Malik (Defense Analyst):  Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan. The United Nations is a debating club, but we should not abandon our struggle as far as the Kashmir issue is concerned. Unfortunately, the world powers have failed to resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UN resolutions. The world powers have observed criminal silence on Kashmir for their financial and strategic interests. The incumbent government has pursued an effective diplomacy to highlight the Kashmir issue at international front. Prime Minister Imran Khan has emerged as an ambassador of Kashmiri people. Pakistan is committed to stand with their Kashmiri brethren in their just struggle of self-determination. India has gained influence in the gulf countries due to its huge market.
